Asset-backed NFT
Concept
An asset-backed NFT (ABN) is an NFT that is collateralized by an underlying pool of assets - usually ones that generate a cash flow or a growth, in Nyx Capital DAO, it concerns NFTs, Crypto and Venture investments. It takes the form of an NFT, paying income at a variable rate for a perpetual amount of time.
This asset can generate passive income for its owner that they will be able to receive in ETH on the wallet holding Nyx NFT.

Pricing
With the help of this mechanism, Nyxโs NFT will have a real inherent value from all underlying assets. These underlying assets will be diversified and handled in a proactive manner to limit speculation on our NFTโs price.
Here are a simple formula for the token price:
Value of 1 Token = DAO Vault Value / Circulating supply of Token
Maturity period
Nyx's NFT have no maturity date, therefore passive income cashflows continue forever as soon as the NFT exist.
Transparent asset
While the project was being envisioned, one of the main goals was to create an asset that would hold an inherent value, independent from the sole speculation.
NFTs detained by Nyxers will give them access to a share of our portfolio (a share of theVault). In other terms: their asset will be backed by underlying assets.
All transactions and investments made are known and accessible to all. This is a fundamental aspect on which blockchain is based, as opposed to traditional finance, which can often be opaque even for investors in hedge funds, life insurance, and other investments.
Comparaison with an Asset-Backed Security
An asset-backed security (ABS) is a type of financial investment that is collateralized by an underlying pool of assetsโusually ones that generate a cash flow from debt, such as loans, leases, credit card balances, or receivables. It takes the form of a bond or note, paying income at a fixed rate for a set amount of time, until maturity. For income-oriented investors, asset-backed securities can be an alternative to other debt instruments, like corporate bonds or bond funds.
